LA NATURE PERTURBÉE

À ma table de travail, comme toujours,

Je lève mes yeux vers la pluie en ce jour.

Des grêlons tambourinent contre ma vitre,

Pas surprenant : les changements climatiques…

Notre cosmos pleure encore son destin

En sachant que pour demain, rien n’est certain.

L’eau, dans la froideur de toute la journée

Cessera cette nuit, nouveau moment né.

Je continue enfin mes compositions

Avec l’idée qu’un jour une apparition

Vivrait près de moi, m’aidant dans ma carrière,

Regardant la nature inhospitalière.

Un arrêt, un loisir pour un bon café,

Par obligation pour des gens assoiffés.

En partageant nos idées et nos pensées,

On se serre fort pour mieux recommencer.

Dans la rue, bien des gens se heurtent en courant

Voulant surtout rentrer, c’est plus rassurant.

Automne trop désagréable, sors ton soleil

Pour retrouver l’amour de tous :  un conseil.

NATURE DISTURBED

At my desk, as always,

I look up at the rain on this day.

Hailstones drum against my windowpane,

No surprise: climate change…

Our cosmos still mourns its fate

Knowing that for tomorrow, nothing is certain.

The water, in the coldness of the whole day

Will cease tonight, a new moment born.

I continue my compositions at last

With the idea that one day an apparition

Would live near me, helping me in my career,

Watching inhospitable nature.

A stop, a leisure for a good coffee,

Out of obligation to thirsty people.

Sharing our thoughts and ideas,

We hold each other close to begin again.

In the street, many people run into each other

Mostly wanting to get home, it’s more reassuring.

Unpleasant autumn, get out your sunshine

To regain everyone’s love: a word of advice.
