THE DIFFERENCES
You hold me in your arms—who cares about the differences,
Since you know my tastes and preferences so well!
A warmth envelops me and I feel butterflies,
You’ll be my handsome prince and I’ll be your Cinderella.
My two hands on my belly, a gesture to calm me down.
I thank the universe, for I am loved.
Quickly, my pen and paper in my excitement,
Both of us a bit unconventional, but not sly.
No matter the color of our skin,
Our two worlds, intimacy holds us close.
My loyalty to my love whom I admire,
Tenderness and sensuality to help us sleep.
Confidences whispered in bed each night
And thanks to that, we resolve many troubles,
If the future seems less lonely to us
Let’s highlight our efforts, often our top priority.

Note: In summary, while an age difference may pose challenges regarding “timing” or social judgment, the success of a couple depends more on maturity and shared goals than on the age gap itself (IA).
