LETTRE À UNE PETITE FILLE

LETTRE À UNE PETITE FILLE

Mon enfant,

XXX

LETTER TO A LITTLE GIRL

My child,

You, so small, happy in your home, live your childhood. We want to have you with us for a very long time, trying to hide you from the turmoil of today’s world.

Your Mamilou will always be there for you and your family. Ice on your boo-boos, a present now and then, books to read together, songs to sing as you fall asleep in my arms, rocking. Later, open to your confidences, your Mamilou will be listening.

In the meantime, you can laugh and parade with us. Watch out for the little rabbit on your vest.

Your Mamilou, who loves you very much. XXX

TRISTE HISTOIRE D’AMOUR

Même si je me perçois ignorante,

Nos mentalités pouvant différer,

Voilà que mon cœur me l’a repéré.

En admettant un amour partagé,

Il demeure loin, désavantagée…

Son silence plane et s’impose souvent.

Cela devient, à la longue, éprouvant.

On dit que rêver peut nous rajeunir…

De ce rêve-là, je dois m’abstenir.

Ne communiquant pas ses sentiments,

Je dois m’éloigner de lui gentiment.

A SAD LOVE STORY

(In English and French)

The man I love is younger than I am.

Discovering his writings months ago

He fascinates me inside.

There are few, in my eyes, better.

A well-recognized intellectual,

Doesn’t strike me as a stranger.

Would I have met him in another life?

When I look at him, I live again.

Despite a different religion,

Even if I feel ignorant,

Our mentalities may differ,

My heart has found him.

By admitting a shared love,

He remains far away, at a disadvantage…

His silence often imposes itself.

It becomes, in the long run, trying.

They say dreaming can make you younger…

From this dream, I must abstain.

Not communicating his feelings,

I must gently walk away.

LA SANTÉ MENTALE (ARTICLE)

LA SANTÉ MENTALE

(Article)

Merci madame Kobusinge. J’ai aimé vous lire.

MENTAL HEALTH

(Article)

If you take the time to observe, this subject is dealt with in every country in the world and in every language. Different communities can understand and agree on this theme.

Today, the anxiety experienced by children in an orphanage in Uganda, commented on by an administrator, touched me to the core. The children were attending a party, and this was essential for their mental health.

You have to fight routine with beautiful memories. “An incredible impact that love and laughter can have on their lives.”

Thank you, Ms. Kobusinge. I enjoyed reading you.
