🕊️ Lettre ouverte : Un nouveau pont de paix entre l’Abitibi et Montréal
Chers amis, lecteurs et messagers de la paix,
Après de magnifiques années passées au cœur de l’Abitibi, à La Sarre, une région qui m’a tant donné et où j’ai œuvré pendant 35 ans et plus, le moment est venu pour moi d’ouvrir un tout nouveau chapitre de ma vie. Je prépare actuellement mes boîtes pour m’installer à la Résidence Soleil de Pointe-aux-Trembles (PAT), à Montréal.
Ce déménagement est un grand changement géographique, mais ma mission, elle, reste intacte. Mon amour pour l’Afrique, mon engagement humanitaire pour les orphelins de la Casamance au Sénégal, et mes projets de diplomatie culturelle pour la République démocratique du Congo (RDC) déménagent avec moi dans ma valise.
Bien que mes finances soient modestes et que je n’aurai plus Internet directement dans mon appartement, je continuerai à rester connectée avec vous. C’est depuis les salons communs de ma nouvelle résidence que je viendrai régulièrement vous partager mes poèmes et mes pensées. Cette transition est pour moi le reflet même de ce que je prône : revenir à des communications réelles, humaines, et de proximité.
Avant mon grand départ, j’ai déposé sur ma chaîne YouTube un cri du cœur qui me tient particulièrement à cœur sur l’amour de notre jeunesse. Je vous y parle de cette « nouvelle drogue du siècle », les écrans et les cellulaires, qui isolent nos enfants, anesthésient leur empathie et leur volent les vrais câlins et l’affection réelle. Il n’est pas trop tard pour agir et semer des graines de paix dans le cerveau de la nouvelle génération.
Je poursuis cette route avec la colombe de la paix à la main. Merci de votre présence fidèle dans ce grand voyage de la vie. Restons unis, par le cœur et par l’esprit.

Tras unos años maravillosos en el corazón de Abitibi, en La Sarre, una región que tanto me ha dado y en la que he trabajado durante más de 35 años, ha llegado el momento de abrir un nuevo capítulo en mi vida. Actualmente estoy preparando mis cajas para instalarme en la Résidence Soleil de Pointe-aux-Trembles (PAT), en Montreal.
Esta mudanza supone un gran cambio geográfico, pero mi misión sigue intacta. Mi amor por África, mi compromiso humanitario con los huérfanos de Casamance, en Senegal, y mis proyectos de diplomacia cultural para la República Democrática del Congo (RDC) se trasladan conmigo en mi maleta.
Aunque mis recursos económicos son modestos y ya no tendré conexión a Internet directamente en mi piso, seguiré en contacto con vosotros. Para mí, esta transición es el reflejo mismo de lo que defiendo: volver a una comunicación real, humana y cercana.
Algo de vital importancia para mí: antes de mi gran partida, he subido a mi canal de YouTube un grito del corazón que me toca especialmente la fibra sensible sobre el amor de nuestra juventud. En él os hablo de esa «nueva droga del siglo», las pantallas y los móviles, que aíslan a nuestros hijos, adormecen su empatía y les roban los abrazos de verdad y el afecto auténtico. No es demasiado tarde para actuar y sembrar semillas de paz en la mente de la nueva generación.

🕊️ Open Letter: A New Bridge of Peace Between Abitibi and Montreal
Dear friends, readers, and messengers of peace,
After wonderful years spent in the heart of Abitibi, in La Sarre—a region that has given me so much and where I have worked for over 35 years—the time has come for me to begin a brand-new chapter in my life. I am currently packing my boxes to move into the Résidence Soleil in Pointe-aux-Trembles (PAT), in Montreal.
This move is a major geographical change, but my mission remains unchanged. My love for Africa, my humanitarian commitment to the orphans of Casamance in Senegal, and my cultural diplomacy projects for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) are all coming with me in my suitcase.
Although my finances are modest and I will no longer have direct internet access in my apartment, I will continue to stay connected with you. It is from the common lounges of my new residence that I will regularly share my poems and thoughts with you. For me, this transition is the very embodiment of what I advocate: a return to real, human, and intimate communication.
Of paramount importance to me, before my big departure, I posted a heartfelt message on my YouTube channel—one that is particularly close to my heart—about the love of our youth. In it, I talk about this “new drug of the century”—screens and cell phones—which isolate our children, numb their empathy, and rob them of genuine hugs and real affection. It’s not too late to take action and sow seeds of peace in the minds of the next generation.
I continue on this path with the dove of peace in my hand. Thank you for your loyal presence on this great journey of life. Let’s remain united, in heart and spirit.
