HÉRITAGE MATERNEL

Pour atteindre un objectif important,

Oubliant les discours grandiloquents,

Il faut viser grand plutôt que petit,

Travailler fort, jamais au ralenti.

L’énergie dépensée est similaire.

Il faut travailler le vocabulaire

Afin de compléter les formulaires,

Surtout pour un projet spectaculaire.

Si un échec se présentait à nous,

Grand regret à l’horizon, je l’avoue

Mais le projet en vaut vraiment la peine,

Recommencer, espérance certaine.

Ne jamais renoncer, toujours foncer

Et notre équipe pourra avancer.

Très polyvalente dans mon horaire,

J’aime surtout le côté littéraire.

Rester assise à ne rien faire, NON.

Plus tard, on se souviendra de mon nom.

Ma mère m’a transmis un héritage,

Je me dois d’utiliser son bagage.

MATERNAL HERITAGE

To achieve an important goal,

Forget grandiose speeches,

Aim high rather than low,

Work hard, never slow down.

The energy expended is similar.

You have to work on your vocabulary

In order to complete the forms,

Especially for a spectacular project.

If failure were to befall us,

Great regret would loom on the horizon, I admit,

But the project is truly worth it,

To start again, with certain hope.

Never give up, always forge ahead,

And our team will be able to move forward.

Very versatile in my schedule,

I especially love the literary side.

Sitting around doing nothing? NO.

Later, my name will be remembered.

POURQUOI L’EAU?

Pourquoi l’eau est-elle si importante?

Par mon regard, la voilà envoûtante.

Du repos assuré, méditations,

Calme obtenu, de la médication.

Le rêve de ma vie, je le partage.

Mais attention au réel piratage.

Peu importe si je suis en erreur,

Je chercherai encore mon bonheur.

Le fleuve Saint-Laurent inoubliable

A marqué ma jeunesse inconsolable.

Les navires illuminés scintillaient,

C’était merveilleux, surtout en juillet.

Loin des lacs, des rivières et des ruisseaux,

J’aimerais peindre comme Picasso,

Avec des bleus, couleurs de loyauté,

Sérénité et jamais cruauté.

WHY WATER?

Why is water so important?

Through my eyes, it is mesmerizing.

It brings rest, meditation,

Calmness, medication.

I share my lifelong dream.

But beware of real piracy.

No matter if I am wrong,

I will still seek my happiness.

The unforgettable St. Lawrence River

Marked my inconsolable youth.

The illuminated ships sparkled,

It was wonderful, especially in July.

Far from lakes, rivers, and streams,

I would like to paint like Picasso,

With blues, colors of loyalty,

Serenity and never cruelty.
